Audience and Purpose

All Manager is designed as a complete solution for those more organizationally inclined. The purpose is to fulfill a need for a singular application that can be used to manage your entire life, and eliminate the need to have a calendar, reminders, passwords, and goals application. With All Manager they can all be in one place.

Research Process

Participants were recruited for their habits related to general organization in their personal and professional lives. Recruiting was done through Respondent.io. Qualitative interviews were held to ensure that All Manager was addressing pain points form their experience with organization solutions. Once validated, the same participants were provided a prototype created in Adobe xD and asked follow up questions regarding the experience. The screens from the prototype can be found below.

Challenges & Solutions

It is not by accident that most organization applications are limited in their features. To design an application that serves these various features while providing a consistent experience some choices had to be made.

A Simple Universal Design

The entire app experience is made up of the same visual components molded to fit the purpose. The dashboard starts by introducing the idea of cards, and further along the user flow you continue to see this same asset altered to be a thermometer tracker or a secure list entry card.

Filling User Needs

During the research process, 40 individuals who stated they used some kind of calendar or reminders app were interviewed. The primary “Manager” types were determined based off of these interviews as they were the most desired by these users. Further expansion into automated bill tracking and social features are also highly desired by users and are in the design process now.

The Screens

Dashboard

From the landing page a user can access their various managers. They can create new managers customized to their liking. Additionally, users can access their account, view completed tasks, and share lists.

Secure

Secure Managers store and protect the information you need to remember, but do not want others to easily access. These lists are password protected and encrypted to keep the users information safe.

Routines

In a Routine Manager users can enter recurring events, create one time exceptions, and connect directly to their system calendar.

The integrated Shopping Manager is a modified version of the To Do Manager that allows for integration directly into shopping applications.

Goals.png

Goals

A Goals Manager is intended to be used for the kinds of long terms tasks that are not something you can just check off. Goals offer progressive tracking of whatever you want to achieve.

To Do

No personal organizer is completed without a general to do list. The To Do Manager is designed to organize tasks by urgency, but the user can choose to manually adjust this Manager to track whatever they like
